Stream Logistics is a specialty service provider focused on transporting large, offsite-built components from factories to job sites for assembly. They have made a splash in the niche, but were unsure about exactly how they could best differentiate themselves and add value to their offsite construction customers performing the job of transporting an offsite component to a jobsite.
We employed our proprietary Engineerovation™ process to scientifically define, identify, quantify, and prioritize the customer needs that were going unmet. Then we facilitated a Focused Ideation session with their management team to develop several targeted innovation concepts based on the data model. Because they were rooted in statistical data, these concepts were highly-focused on the unmet needs, and hence had a very high likelihood of commercial success.
